Canine Pregnancy & Whelping Online Course

Our "Canine Pregnancy and Whelping" online breeder course is aimed at people interested in having a litter of puppies or breeders wanting to further their career development by having completed a CPD recognised course. 

The course is extensive and will inform you on all aspects of dog breeding from mate selection to whelping and includes links to videos of a whelping and its stages. For novice and hobby breeders the whelping is commonly the most stressful part of breeding and being able to "see" a whelping, prior to being a midwife, means you can be prepared for what is to come.

• When to breed
• The mating process
• The pregnancy
• Whelping preparation
• Whelping (including videos)
• Aftercare of the bitch and puppies

The course is an online, home learning course which you can do at your own pace. 

There is a short questionnaire to complete at the end which involves some multiple choice and some short sentence answers. Once you have completed this we will issue you with your Smartstart Achievement Award and CPD Certification.
